Linking Policy
Mystic Country reserves the right to accept or reject any site for any reason. Sites will be reviewed on a periodic basis based on the requirements listed below.
Potential sites must comply with the following to be eligible for consideration:
1. Site must commit to a hyperlink back to Mystic Country site.
2. The linking site must be a Mystic Country attraction, lodging, special event, or service in support of the hospitality industry that is directly involved in enhancing tourism in Connecticut and/or Rhode Island, and must be in full compliance with state and local regulations in providing consumer information.
3. Represent the Mystic Country area in a positive manner.
4. Provide information updated on a regular basis to assist the vacationer or traveler visiting the Mystic Country area.
5. Must not include offensive, indecent, obscene and/or libelous material and cannot be directly linked to any other sites that may include offensive, obscene and/or libelous material.
6. Should be designed to be user friendly. Your site should be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and hosted on a server with adequate capacity to reasonably meet visitor demands (e.g., download times of home page must be consistent with competitive sites - design of page should accommodate readable print-outs).
7. Linked sites must prominently display the Mystic Country link, prior to your site being linked.
