There’s nothing like living in a place where people go on vacation. Even a regular Tuesday night can feel like an escape if you’re having dinner outdoors overlooking the Mystic River, walking the beaches in Misquamicut, or shopping Main Street in Essex. I love taking advantage of those places and moments, and the mass of things to do within such a short drive time from each other. I think a lot of us take for granted the sheer number of dining options, the many spas and the outstanding celebrity entertainment that’s become a regular part of our region. I like to soak in as much of it as I can, and am excited to share it with you!

From martinis in plush couches under the world’s largest planetarium dome, to nachos and the big game at a sports bar, a drink among rock legend memorabilia at Hard Rock Café, a pint in an authentic Irish pub, or a lost shaker of salt at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville to late night dancing in trendy nightclubs, there’s something for everyone in jeans and flip flops or little black dresses.

Is the casino district easily accessible from cities like Boston and Providence?
Absolutely. Both Mystic Country casinos are easily accessible from I-95, I-395 and the Mass Pike.

Mystic Country casinos draw world-class headline entertainment and offer their shows in intimate venues where there’s not a bad seat in the house. The largest entertainment venue is a 10,000 seat arena, which hosts the same performers as have played 100,000 seat stadium shows.
